Director of Industrial Sales
Why is food your passion?
Food is one of the few constants in life. Most will enjoy a meal 2-3 times a day. Why not enjoy those times to the fullest? The creativity and passion involved in creating a unique and tasteful flavor experience feeds both our physical and mental wellbeing.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
Enjoying your craft makes everything in your life a little easier. Being able to sell clean, safe, and flavorful products is not only fun but fulfilling as well.

Adam Howell

Why is food your passion?
Food is the greatest communicator on earth, spanning culture, class and
language. Whether home cooked, haute cuisine or from a streetside stall, food has the ability to ignite all the senses, inspire us to travel, encourage us to connect outside our normal networks, express our uniqueness, and fuel our adventures.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
I cherish that food is a way for me to express my creativity and serves as a way to show my love for friends and family, while working with my hands and of course tasting along the way. In both my restaurant work in the past, and in the industrial space I am in now, the passion for service, quality and delivering memorable eating experiences is pervasive and palpable, and I am thrilled to be a part of that world.

Summer Heydarian
Foodservice National Account Manager
Why is food your passion?
From creative expression through cooking, exploring various cultural
roots, finding a love for the sensory experience of tasting different flavors, or simply connecting with others over shared meals—food brings people together. My passion for people and food go hand-in-hand and I enjoy
being part of the continuous exploration and innovation around creating
value for both.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
I never initially imagined I would work in the food industry but six years
later, I don’t see another route. I have fallen in love with it because I
admire the creativity, diversity, and opportunity to bring joy to others
through food. The people in this industry are simply the best and I have a
genuine passion for building strong connections with co-workers, peers,
and customers alike.

Ari Satinover
Foodservice Sales
Why is food your passion? What do you love about food and the food industry?
I’ve spent over 25 years in the Food Industry- as a busboy, in a kitchen, waiting tables, and managing restaurants; then into distribution and ultimately to the supplier side.
Through all those years and changes, the flavor food brings to life is what is most exciting to me. Of course, this means what a food tastes like and how it reacts with other food and drink, but this also means all the moments in life that happen when people get together to eat.
Food sets the trends that affect our lives every day. Continuing my career at SupHerb Farms allows me to work with a team that is focused on the cutting edge of food today… and tomorrow… from the garden to our clients’ dishes!

Carol Cooper
Director of Foodservice Sales
Why is food your passion?
Food is a powerful connector. It brings people together, reflects culture and creativity, and has the ability to turn everyday moments into memorable experiences.
What do you love about the food and the food industry?
The food industry combines creativity with accountability. Working to meet the changing needs of the consumer and find solutions that balance flavor, value and operational efficiencies – it’s all incredibly rewarding. Most of all, I’m motivated by the impact we have on how people experience and enjoy food every day.

Why is food your passion?
Yes, I am in love…Deep, untamed, uninhibited love that runs deep in my veins – and my stomach for that matter. I love everything about food: the fragrant, irresistible smell; the fantastic colors, and the rich overwhelming taste. My love is not only about eating and cooking, but I love the innovation and learning techniques from some of the best Chefs around the world.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
We eat to survive, but I survive to eat. I have a deep passion for food. I love to eat, but more importantly, I love to cook, talk about, look and study all types of food. I love to follow the latest trends in cooking, and I also love to recreate forgotten dishes from the past. I love how the food industry is always innovating and creating to find flavors that dance on your taste buds, allowing me to have a constant flow of creative ideas to develop flavors, and dishes.

Why is food your passion? What do you love about food and the food industry?
My love for food resides mostly in sushi. Sashimi in particular. Being new to the food industry has opened my eyes to the many variables – from planting to harvest and through to production – that impact the flavor and quality of our products and how well a company like SupHerb Farms nurtures the process to ensure only the best products reach the market. It’s a beautiful thing.

Why is food your passion?
The preparation of food is a form of art. The final product is a masterpiece based upon an individual’s experiences, environment, and culture. It tells a story of love, joy, happiness, sadness, struggle, determination, resistance, praise, or being grateful.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
It’s one of the last segments of business, where your word is your bond, and your name and the company you work for means everything. Actions or
agreements are still initiated based upon on a handshake. It’s good to be in a business where there is still a very high level of integrity.

Nelson Freeman
VP of Supply Chain
Why is food your passion?
Social work has been my passion and food has been my career, I have found a rare passion in the combination of both. As I'm able to practice meeting a part of individuals basic needs of well-being through food.
What do you love about food and the food industry?
Having been on four continents, traveled to seven countries and numerous regions/states/providence's cities/towns/villages, food has been a common denominator. Serving as a symbolic gesture of unity and sharing of one's culture throughout my travels. It has been that notion in conjunction with our industries commitment to offerings that support multi-cultural awareness is what I love.

Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by food—from growing it in the garden to experimenting in the kitchen. I’m a lifelong foodie at heart and I find joy in turning simple ingredients into something memorable.
What do you love about the food and the food industry?

David Sieperda

I love the people; I am so fortunate to work with those who spend their lives planting small seeds into the soil to produce beautiful, aromatic and flavorful herbs.

Tierney Bartling
Industrial Sales Manager – West Coast
Why is food your passion?
Food speaks in ways that no language can. You can tell if it’s made with care. Seeing ingredients go from components to something delicious makes me so happy.
What do you love about the food and the food industry?
I love that this industry continues to innovate and bring global flavors to the consumer. Being a part of that process is a point of pride for me, there’s value in being a part of something bigger than yourself. When I started in the food industry, I found security in knowing people will always have to eat. Now though, being a part of someone’s celebratory meal, their comfort snack, or roadside stop… that’s really special to me.

Anna Lewis
VP of Business Development & Innovation
Why is food your passion?
Food has been part of my world for as long as I can remember. My mom was a bacteriologist and food scientist, so I grew up around people who didn’t just eat food, they figured it out, made it better and got excited about how it worked. That stuck with me. What I love is that food is both emotional and technical. It’s comfort, tradition and everyday joy — but it’s also a really fun science problem. I get to live in both worlds: using food science and culinary thinking to make frozen products that are easy, reliable, and genuinely delicious. After 25+ years, I still get a kick out of turning an idea into something people actually keep buying, sharing and going back to. That’s the best part.
What do you love about the food and the food industry?
I love that food lets me improve someone’s day in a tangible way. When we create new products that make a meal more flavorful, easier, or just more enjoyable, it’s not abstract - it shows up at someone’s table on a busy Tuesday night. If I can help people get a little more joy out of eating, even in a small way, that feels like a win every time. I love the food industry because it never stands still. We’re always pushing to bring better solutions to our customers, food that feels closer to homemade, takes less time and effort and still delivers
on taste with real ingredients. That mix of purpose and innovation is exciting to be part of. There’s a real challenge in making something that’s convenient and truly delicious, and I enjoy being in the middle of that every day.
