Plant-Forward
Consumption of vegetables has increased significantly due to consumer desire to live a healthier lifestyle. Fitness/dietary trends, such as Keto and Paleo-style diets, are a large part of this as well. Perhaps the most prolific of the recent trends is the Plant-Forward movement. 70% of consumers want to see vegetables taking a more prominent role in dishes that also feature meat. This shift in wanting to consume more vegetables is what’s driving this movement. Look at using plants and vegetables in new ways and broaden the scope of how they can be used or menued in order to fully capitalize on this new movement.
